Welspun-Gujarat Stahl - 'Engineering Excellence'

Welspun-Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd has announced that the Company has bagged prestigious pipeline orders worth Rs 700 Crores (USD 170 mn.) for the supply of line pipes overseas. These orders are acquired close on the heels of the Rs 1089 crore orders the Company received last month from both India and overseas. The new orders have taken the Company's current pending order book position to approximately Rs 4,700 Crores, including the orders executed in the last quarter of FY 07.

Commenting on the orders, Mr. B K Goenka, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Welspun Group said, "The single-minded dedication of our employees are our emphasis on 'Engineering Excellence' has demonstrated our ability to execute large and prestigious orders successfully.
