Net profit of Tata Sponge Iron rose 905.93% to Rs 11.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 1.18 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 125.33% to Rs 93.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 41.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.
For the full year, net profit declined 4.11% to Rs 21.23 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 22.14 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 43.76% to Rs 277.51 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 193.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
