Gujarat Gas announces Q1

Gujarat Gas Company Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007:

The Company has posted a profit after tax of Rs 450.286 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 244.681 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2028.818 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 3090.226 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

The Group has posted a profit attributable of Rs 375.992 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 263.684 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. Total Income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 2397.727 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 3424.556 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
